Noblelift AGV Localization Algorithm was nominated for BEST PAPER at the CIS-RAM 2024 Conference

The 11th International Conference on Control and Intelligent Systems, Robotics, Automation, and Mechatronics (CIS-RAM 2024) was held in Hangzhou, China from August 8th to 11th, 2024. This academically prestigious event gathered top scholars and talent from relevant fields worldwide to discuss the latest developments and industry applications of robotics and computational intelligence. Noblelift team's research stood out among numerous competitors and was nominated for the “Best Paper Award in the global event.

At the conference, the Noblelift delegation, navigation engineer Mr. Meng Wei and his team, showcased groundbreaking achievements in autonomous forklift localization technology. In his paper, "Localization Performance of Autonomous Forklifts in Warehouse Environments," Meng Wei provided a detailed analysis of the performance differences between mainstream commercial and open-source localization algorithms in the field of logistics robots. He also delved into key aspects such as maintainability, open-source nature, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

Noblelift's high-precision localization is based on multi-sensor fusion technology, which integrates data from LiDAR, odometers, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), steering, and speed encoders. This comprehensive data processing significantly enhances localization and control accuracy in complex warehouse environments. The fusion technology not only achieves stable real-time localization in dynamically changing conditions but also effectively reduces errors associated with individual sensors, ensuring high precision even in challenging environments.
